Background and Character
With over 35 years experience in the industry, both as a Realtor and in Mortgage Banking, I have a reputation for integrity, being a tenacious remover of obstacles, providing superior service with a focus on customer needs and communicating consistently and accurately. My many years of experience in Mortgage Lending assist me to identify and eliminate potential financing problems for both Buyers and Sellers.
After just two years in my office I was asked to mentor new agents which I believe speaks to my knowledge and expertise. I am proactive when working with other agents and know how to present buyers in the best possible light which helps to get offers accepted. When negotiating I prefer to take a collaborative approach, looking for a win win situation whenever possible.
I have continued to grow my own skills through experience and on-going education. I have taken the courses necessary to become a Certified Negotiation Expert, Senior Real Estate Specialist, Certified HAFA (Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives) Specialist, Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource and Certified Green Real Estate Professional.
What's important to me
I live in Curtis Park in an 80 year old home with my 3 Havanese dogs, collectively known as the Widdles. I enjoy movies, live music, entertaining, gardening and have a basement full of decorations for every holiday. I am a board member of the Sierra Curtis Neighborhood Association and teach pole walking at the Senior Center in Sierra 2.
I enjoy maintaining relationships with my clients after close of escrow,
many of them becoming good friends!
